Intellectual Property: Who Owns What
When you upload content to Media-Compute, you retain full ownership of your original files and any processed outputs. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. The processing we perform is a service—we transform your content according to your instructions and return it to you.
The Media-Compute platform itself, including our website design, code, AI models, logos, and branding, remains our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without explicit permission. Using our service does not grant you any rights to our underlying technology.
Content Guidelines: What You Can Upload
Media-Compute is designed for legitimate personal and commercial use. You may upload photographs, graphics, documents, videos, and other media that you own or have permission to process. This includes your own creative work, business materials, personal photos, and licensed content where the license permits modification.
You may not upload content that violates laws, infringes on others' intellectual property rights, contains malware, or is designed to abuse our systems. Specifically prohibited content includes: illegal material, child exploitation material (CSAM), content that promotes violence or hatred, non-consensual intimate imagery, and copyright-infringing content you don't have rights to process.
Service Availability: Uptime and Maintenance
We strive to maintain high availability for Media-Compute, but we cannot guarantee 100% uptime. Services may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, infrastructure issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We do not provide service level agreements (SLAs) for free or standard paid tiers.
When possible, we schedule maintenance during low-traffic periods and provide advance notice. However, emergency situations may require immediate action without prior notification. We recommend keeping local copies of important files rather than relying solely on any online service, including ours.
Processing Results: Quality Expectations
AI-powered processing produces results that vary based on input quality, content type, and processing parameters. While our models achieve excellent results on most content, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Factors affecting results include: source image resolution, compression artifacts in originals, content complexity, and chosen processing settings.
We encourage users to test processing on sample files before batch processing large collections. Results are provided "as is"—if output quality doesn't meet your expectations, you may adjust settings and reprocess, but we don't guarantee that any specific quality level can be achieved for any given input.
âś… Best Results From
High-resolution originals, minimal prior compression, clear subjects, good lighting conditions.
⚠️ Challenging Inputs
Heavily compressed files, very low resolution, extreme noise, unusual aspect ratios.
Dispute Resolution
If you have a dispute with Media-Compute, we encourage you to contact us first at support@media-compute.site. Many issues can be resolved through direct communication. We commit to responding to disputes within 5 business days and working in good faith to reach a fair resolution.
For disputes that cannot be resolved directly, these Terms are governed by applicable law. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the appropriate jurisdiction. By using our service, you agree to attempt informal resolution before pursuing formal legal action.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Media-Compute, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights. This includes but is not limited to claims of copyright infringement based on content you uploaded.
Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (such as payment processors). These third parties have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
When you make a payment through Razorpay or Stripe, you are also subject to their terms of service. When you view advertisements served by Google AdSense, Google's policies apply to that interaction. We recommend reviewing the terms of any third-party services you interact with through our platform.
Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Media-Compute regarding use of our service. Any previous agreements, understandings, or representations are superseded by these Terms. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
We recommend saving or printing a copy of these Terms for your records. If you have questions about any aspect of these Terms, please contact us before using the service. Your use of Media-Compute indicates acceptance of all terms and conditions outlined here.
